okay so what started out as a bit of railroading ... has turned into full flung laddering on the socks -- not too bad an issue, I know how to tighten the stitches to make them go away.
I thought I was just one row away from finishing the arch expansion, but I couldn't remember if the total stitches was supposed to be 20 or 22 added sts for te expansion ... neither - its 26! Damn.
this will add 9 more rows before I can get to the heel!
Once I get to the heel I know things will fly.
first because the heel is worked in a short row .... then also because it means I will be getting to the major pattern feature of these socks and I will be so anxious to see it grow I know it will fly!
well better get my nose back to the grind stone ... I think we will pizza for supper again tonight. quick/easy ... oh damn ...
daughter's concert is tonight too ... and I want to go, but there is no way I can knit at the same time .... damn
