9000 government jobs were lost JAN 2013
November job numbers changed from
161,000 to 247,000
December numbers changed from
155,000 to 196,000
12.3 million unemployed
Does not include:
2.4 million who have "dropped out" of the work force
(ie. "marginally attached" workers)
8 million work only PT while wishing for FT work
Effects 22.7 million people
[I'd say we are talking a lot more than that since we ALL are paying for their unemployment/medical until they find a job ... but that's just me]
