Well, when you start to lose people who are actually LOOKING for work, then yeah the unemployment numbers LOOK better ....

Retail Industry lost: 24,000 jobs
(added 32,000 jobs 6months before)
Only 63% of those who can work, do work (down 0.2%)
Lowest since MAY 1979
(Jimmy Carter was in office, Reagan was running for prez, things looked really nasty)
