ait's the "new" flu, i'm telling ya'

 New word from the CDC .... over that "flue" that everyone was so scared about in 2020 ... tha one that came from overseas .... that one that if I mention it, I'm likely to get kicked off ...

CURRENTLY, it is recommended that when you test positive, you ISOLATE for 5 days .... a,k.a, quarentine, although I guess that implies a hospital stay and they don't want that either ...

NEW GUIDELINES (under discussion) is that instead of isolation you simply isolate once fever free (withut fever reducer) for 24 hours

Yup ... so its like the Swine Flu was .... in the 70s they kept trying to encourage people to get the new flu shot but no one was going .... so they began to talk about this "new" type of flu.  Well, there were still just enough people around who remembered their parents/grandparents (some of us had parents who started having kids in the 40s and didn't stop until the 70s) ... and then there were still people around who actually survived the SPanish Flu ... yes, there were survivors.

But this new flu was made to sund just as bad ... only problem was, the pork industry took a huge hit!!  Bacon was good, but it wasn't used to flavor everything like it is these days ... bacon was - well -bacon ... but people thought that if they ate ANY prok products they were going to catch it ... stupid really, but no different than the reaction to what Mr. Trump dubbed the "Chinese Flu" (he was trying to get a catchy name like the Spanich Flu, but he underesimated the supidity of people).

So NOW ... the CDC will simply be confirming what people like me have thought all along ... that since the medical name of the .... um ... c19 flu ... hope that works .. is SARS ...

SARS is the medical classification for "Flu" ... the Bird Flu is a SARS deisease, as is this "new" one.

I have not looked up what SARS actually stands for ... but in my mind it equals FLU.

But just wanted to update everybody ...

So while everyone complains about Mr. Trump starting the Lock-Down ... remember, it started along the West Coast first - even though the governor of CA ignored it, Rep. Nancy Pelosi ignored it, Hollywood ignored it big time!!

I guess ... they didn't really have to after all.

so ... FL and SD were right after all.
