SAME OF RANT, ANOTHER DAY OF STUPIDITY

Okay - let's try this again .... I started off on background infor and totally went off on a tangent .... lets see if this works now.

GA, nursing student bludgened to death during a morning jog .... she was found dragged off the job=gging path .... sounds like she was beaten so bad, that he skull was like a jigsaw puzzle sill in the box.

The accused murderer, there hasn't been a trial yet, is an ILlegal which entered/processed over the Mexico-Texas border in 2022.  He has lived in at least 3 cities and had run-ins with the law in all of them .... ICE tried to collect him in each city, but the Sanctuary City system worked against them.

Now this lady is dead ... needlessly

Let's stop here .... I'm so close to going off in a couple different directions, I'm telling you.

Enter CA state Congresswoman Kate Porter .... she says that people shouldn't be upset by a single death of this woman, that it shouldn't interfer with those hoping for a better way of life or getting a job.

WAIT, WHAT????

Ma'am ... do you know how many people have been killed in the US by ILlegals??  More than those killed by guns I'm going to guess.

I remember in MN when a woman ran into the back of a school bus .... believe several children died, but I could be wrong.  
She fled the scene, but was caught shortly afterwards ... she was intoxicated (I think), she claimed she ran because she didn't have insurance ... she did not speak any english so they had to find a translator.
This was back in the early 2000s, I believe, before MN realized how big of an issue they actually have.

There was a gale in CA who was shot on a beach during the Obama administtration, when he says he simply picked up a Tshirt and a gun fell out. 

There have been soooooo many of these cases!

Ms. Porter -- how can you say this is an ISOLATED incident??  That's it's "sad and tragic, we should acknowledge that but let's remember all the other good parts of the migrate situation"

Might I suggest you all STOP your "Sanctualry City"BS for a little bit???

The purpose of the S.C. status was not to prevent ICE from gettinn a hold of them - it was supposed to help with crime! 

Part of the issue was that people were becoming victims of crime - assaults, rape, robbery, etc. - and they wouldn't come forward for fear of being deported ... this put one section of a city's population into terrible danger.
Then it began to get applied to housing and jobs .... "undocumented" workers would be hired because they could be paid less, or under the table, or overworked .... most of he workers wouldn't say anything for fear of losing their jobs.
Landlords, slum-lords for the most part, wouldn't make repairs to their units, would charge extra for heat/water/etc., or would make foreign tenants pay as much for the crappy apartments as citizens did for good places.

THIS was what the Sanctuary City label was supposed to fix.

It was NEVER meant to allow criminals -- no matter where they came from -- to get away with a crime!!!

I say, everyone should think what they woould want if this had been their child, sister, daughter, wife ... 
What would you want to have happen to the criminal if he looked like you and was here legally ....
What would you want to have happen?

I'm guessing the majority of us would want the MAXIMUM penalty allowed under state law ....

But here's another question .... 

Could this be considered a Federal Crime?
My biggest worry about that tactic though, would be that this Administration would be likely to grant him a pardon ... we get an indication that Ms. Porter would.
