HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE????

So, I'm still watching The Faukner Focus (FNC) from this afternoon .... I've been sick today, so I'm going slower than usual - lots of potty breaks .... lots of potty breaks ...

When they started talking about the "Balance of Power" .... and they then look at the US Senate ....

Now I know they have some Independants in there - Sanders is one .... and I thought there were 2 others ...

I also know they caucus with the Democrats -- that means that while hey say they are Independant, they actually vote he way the Democrats want them too ....

Well .... I was thinking .... Why not use the power to get the legislation you really want ...

Because when you hear about the vote counts in the Senate .... it's usually 51-49 ....

Well - first .... shocker ... there are not 3 Indepenents .... there are actually FOUR ... FOUR of them!!!!!

At what point do they get forced to caucus with themselves???

So, the precise breakdown of the senate .... as it stands now ... is:
Dems = 47
Reps - 49
Inds = 4

This means, that IF 2 of the Independents went to the Republicans and said "listen, you do a, b, c ... and I'll vote your way" ....

DO YOU REALIZE THE POWER THIS IS?????

Think of everything which has come before the Senate in the last 2 years (last election) .... things which one side or the other wanted to pass .....

Yes - its that much power!

And they tinkle it away!!

I think the "independents" have deceived all the people of their state ....

The people voted for you because .... they didn't wantt a Republican .... they didn't want a Democrat ....
