SO - it has been quite a while since I've posted ... mostly because it seems that nearly anything can get you shut down these days ... but I'm gonna chance that this will be cleared.
As you may have heard, there's a bit of a problem in the middle of Europe ... Russia says the Ukrainians have attacked them, but news reports have said Russia was the aggressor ... sorry, I'll go with the NEWS this time.
In the 1930s, Germany dressed several of their soldiers up as Polish troops and then had them "attack" .... they tried to use this as a means to justify the invasion into Poland -- luckily, there were REPORTERS in the general area who caught it, saw ti, and reported it as soon as they could.
Well, my understanding is that Putin's army has tried to pull this same crap.
Well, since that didn't work ... and Biden finally took his blinder's off and slapped Putin's wrist by locking up some of Russia's banking accounts, Putin has ... well ... lost his freaking mind!
We lock the banking system ...
Putin has called up his NUCLEAR FORCES ... he has put them on High Alert - according to the Russian Ambassador to the United Nations - because apparently Nukes are the appropriate response.
Don't get me wrong, I've always felt that the best Defense is a strong Offense ... but ... REALLY???
I do know that I am hoping this does not trigger World War 3
I also know I see the world quite different now than when I was 18 - 21 years old
I've got kids now ... I hope some day to have grandchildren ... and I want to have a fairly peaceful world for them.
