SCHOOL LUNCHES = $176 MILLION OVER BUDGET

 So - why is it that it seems like Democrats just can't get their math right?  This totally explains the school systems.

When fmr. President Obama (remember, he has had 2 terms, can't run anymore) ... when he was fighting for his "Affordable Care Act" aka ObamaCare ... Sen. Paul Ryan, speaker of the House, tried to tell him that he was double counting, that the math was way off, and that it was going to cost MORE to people than they figured - he was poo-poo'd and hushed (as much as they could) .... and then - tada - it turned out that they had in fact misdid the math, and it was going to cost people more.

Same with Minnesotas Free Lunch Program ... people told them that it was going to cost way more than the government had figured ... my personal thought was that they didn't take into account the actual price of the food going up, but apparently its not even that.

The Governor, Mr. Tim Walz, is ticked off at the legislators because they want to end the program after this school year (at least that's the way he makes it sound) in order to keep from putting the education system in a deeper hole, to keep the state from going "bankrupt" -- okay, its not that bad, but it isn't a little amount either.

$176 MILLION

That's no small budget.

He said:
    "Your first thought on a budget stretching across the state, and your first thought was we needed to cut school meals - I would re-evauate why you're in the legislature!"

My feeling is .... you have a surplus during a time when people are struggling to pay bills and instead of refunding the money to those who OVERPAID in the first place .... your first thought was "Let's Spend It!!!" .... 

I think YOU should re-evaluate why YOU are in the Governorship!

Under Walz, the stte budget has gone from a surplus to a DEFICIT  of $1.5 BILLION by 2027 (they aren't even taking into account expanding population)

Sigh.

I hate it when people spend our money for things they want ... it such a SCAM.
