WHAT HAPPENED TO JOURNALISM/INTEGRITY????

So yesterday - yes it was just yeasterday - the Supreme Court gave its ruling on states trying to remove a person from a ballot based on the 3rd clause of the 14th (?) amendment ... in this case Mr. Trump, President Trump** 

The Court was UNANIMOUS .... 9-0 ... NO decention at all.

Today on Outnumbered (FNC) they were showing clips from several other programs on cable/satellite ... and one of them was from CNN ... actually, I think most were from there but I'm sure there was some MSNBC as well ... but this particular clip had a background labelled "Inside Politics"

A female speaker - there was no way to tell who she was, no name on the CNN banner/marquee ...anyhow - she said ... and I had to listen 3 times because I couldn't believe she was this "dilusional" ... she actually claimed that the court gave a ...

5-4 rulling ...

Um ... no ... it was a 9-0 ruling ... and as far as the opinion from the "minority" - although, really there was no minority here since they ALL agreed -  wrote, it was 3 members of the Court, and it wasn't a "desention" it was simply a clarification.

NOT.  THE.  SAME.  THING. AT.  ALL!!!

So ... now you understand why you cannot simply get your news from a single source ... I listen a lot to FNC, but they are NOT the only place I listen.

I also listen to CBS, ABC, FBN, FNC ... I used to watch NBC, MSNBC but they have become .... unreasonable .... even there "conservative" people aren't really all that conservative.

I'm NOT a Trump person ... I'm NOT a Biden person ... I'm NOT a wierdo, nor an "anarchist" .... 
I am an AMERICAN ... I raised my children ... I hope the nation is still here when my grandkids grow up ... and I hope my grandkids get to grow up - no guaranteed these days - I am more liberal than my parents, more conservative than my children ... and I pay attention to things other people seem to ignore ... and if I don't trust something, I check it out for myself.

It's just hard to swallow that one of these things has become .... the NEWS!

I miss the times of Walter Cronkite and Tom Koppel ... I miss tuning into the news and not be told WHAT or HOW I'm supposed to feel or think.

I miss a time when if your opponent lost ... you'd grumble about it for a couple days and then move on with life ... 

Those are NOT these days at all.

**My basic rule about the title of "president" has to do with (a)if they are part of a group, then only the current president is call "President" and (b)if they are allegable to run for another term, and listed by themselves, they are called "President"

It has nothing to do with my politics, or who I support ... Even Mr. Carter, President Carter, at age 99, who likely will never run for office again, gets called "President" because he only served ONE term.  Mr. Clinton, fmr. President Clinton, served 2 terms and is no longer able to run for the job ... therefore, he is "former President"
