INTERESTING QUESTION:HANGING ON

So, you probably heard by now ... Mr. Trump will be President .... again .... 

Something which hasn't happened in over 100 years - Grover Cleveland is the last President to serve 2 NON-consecutive terms ... and I want to say that was in the 1880's .... and he was a Democrat!

Well, now Mr. Trump has to start thinking of who he wants in each of his Cabinet positions ....

He says Susan Wiles will be his Chief of Staff -- the first woman to hokd that position (take that Biden!) ... she is a very smart lady.

If you are a "West Wing" fan .... it was the office Leo McGerry had .... it's usually saved for the person you would trust your literal life too, the person who would jump on a handgranade or in front of a bullet for you - just because it's who they are, not because it's their job.

He annunced that yesterday ... there's also some speculatin that he wants to put Bobby Kennedy Jr in charge of Public Health - not sure how hat would work, I don't hink Kennedy is a doctor ...

But - then - the Democrats are all in a panic over the election, yet.

But I'm getting off topic here ....

Mr. Trump has never kept it a secret that he does not like the current Fed Chair ... Jerome Powell ... he has not liked many of the moves he has done with the Federal Reserve - all the raising of interest rates across the board, taking too long to cut them, not excluding credit cards from the rate hikes (I think).

So, it will be likely that Trump will ask him to leave .... 

When asked by a reporter if he wuold leave, he said "No" ... that's it .... at least in the clip I saw.

BUT .... The office of Federal Reserve Chairman is not an ELECTED position .... I'm pretty sure it's an APPOINTMENT by the PRESIDENT ....

and if he "SERVES AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT" .... and the President asks for your resignation, once he is sworn in, of  couse -- don't you HAVE TO resign???

Now I wonder ....

Apparently Powell feels he gets to stay until May 2025 2026 ... whether Trump wants him there or not!!

I'm not so sure about that ...
