Okay - so if you watched the debate onThursday (hubby missed it but I saw it live) ....
Well the POLLS concerning it are beginning to come out now ....
And, like CNN, they show that democrats, as a whole not just the DNC, are WORRIED about Joe and whether he will be able to do the job as President.
Acatually it raised the question for me, yet again, as to WHO is actually in charge of the White House ... but that's a whole different other post.
And no - I do not think it's Kamala Harris either, any longer.
So here are the polls ... poor Joe.
From USAToday/Suffolk
HOW DID THE DEBATE IMPACT YOUR DECISION ON WHO TO VOTE FOR?
44% No Impact (not unusual so that's why it's not bold)
31% More Likely Trump (I would have thought it'd be higher ... but wait)
10% More Likely for Biden (really??)
9% THIRD PARTY
4% LESS likely to VOTE
WHO DO YOU THINK WON THE DEBATE?
50% Trump
11% Biden
28% NEITHER (more on this later)
Okay - 28% said neither person won ... in otherwards, America has LOST.
Its not unusual for people to think "no one won" a debate - but it is RARE that it goes double digits, much less ABOVE 25% ... So it makes me wonder - how many of them weren't willing to say Trump won? The so-called "Never Trump"ers??
I think the most telling number is the 9% who are voting 3rd party now ... while SOME of these would/could be "Undecided"s, it is more likely democrats who will likely vote for RFK jr. so they can feel that at least they voted for a Dem (remember, he is a democrat, just running without his party's support)
