Do you think that Bush distroyed the Rep. Party?

Huckabee: it is not better off than it was 8 yrs ago, but not Bush's fault it is washington dc's fault; Iraq took his agenda off course but he couldn't ignore it; democrats think getting out is more imp than winning--proud the pres is sticking to his guns on this issue; Bush has been trying to push the rep agenda but congress keeps putting breaks on it.

Phased withdrawn troops from Iraq
Romney: Absolutely not. Takes offense to the implication that he did (McCain said it); claims never set a specific date for withdrawl. Why didn't McCain ever bring up subject at any of the debates if he thought the statement was true? Did not like when it came up just days before FL primary was a dirty trick.

McCain: he did say he wanted time table; he kept arguing how he interpreted Romney's statements.

Paul: don't think troops should have gone, so how can we keep troops in Iraq for 100 yrs (McCain said we should stay until it is settled even if it took 100 yrs). Republicans usually get elected to stop wars....doesn't seem reason we are even there. Feels its an unjust war.

Huckabee: wants to get involved more in the debates instead of having everything directed to them. Anything we do over there will irupt into all the nations along side Iraq. Sounded like he is predicting WW3.

McCain: false argument, american causualities not involvement; need to protect american security interests; only one who said rumsfled had to go and petraus only stragedy that would work; will stick to his princepals no matter what.

Huckabee: look at actions because eyes can lie; need to make sure world knows they don't want to ingage under any circumstances; don't want extended employments for lack of troops

Romney: he wants to re-establish russia as super power; repressive regime;

Paul: Pres is not commander-in-chief in economy only of military; government has role in economy only by not printing new money and lowering taxes; should not be financing war or welfare; commander in cheif should not be moving troops around; mentioned Reagan.

Huckabee: complained about not getting questions again; mentioned that governors are ready to be president because every agency in federal level is in state level. imbalance of power right now because of ignorance of 10th amendment. government shouldn't interfer with raising kids (this should be interesting with the 'no spank' bills being proposed in a couple of states). real leader ship recognizes what your decisions effect the guy at the bottom of the trickle down...if you can see it you shouldn't be running.

Romney: We will win in Iraq, lower taxes/spending, prolife, promarriage, lot is broken, independant from the outside like him; want to drill in alaska; no way to mccain/fingold

McCain: would not approve of someone who changes their position (at romney);
