BREAKING NEWS: Presidential Birth Certificate RESPONSE

The President has come out to make his statement pertaining to his B/C ... he calls it providing 'extra information' instead of saying they released his birth certificate ...

in fact he was very careful to shy away from the words ... the phrase ... he even measured his words to be sure he didn't actually call what he released was his actual "birth certificate" ...

Personally I would think the WH would love the distraction of Trump's accusations because people, rather the media, didn't seem to be paying much attention to his action/reaction to the economy ... or rather lack there of ...

unless they are counting on this to stir the pot up some more!  oh that could be ...

its just a really strange time to do this ... right now the media is so focused on the Royal Wedding that he could have had another whole week of media peace - had he waited until Monday, he might get a bigger media spot ...

unless that is what they were worried about ... too much scrutiny ...

interesting that this only came out after Trump announced that he had private investigators looking into things ... hmmm, wonder what they found that they are trying to get the public to dismiss out of hand.

BREAKING NEWS: Presidential Birth Certificate Released

Well, well .... Donald Trump has gotten some action ...

The President has finally decided to release his "Birth Certificate" ... the actual one, not the "Certificate of Live Birth" that has caused so much controversy ...

of course you have to wonder why he couldn't produce this thing during his first run -- but then it takes a while to produce a .... well lets not go there.

I know he says that its because he wants to put it behind and move on to more important matters like the ECONOMY, GAS PRICES, TERRORISM, and other issues ....

Funny - he didn't think it was so important during his first campaign ...

but I have a feeling that was because there were questions about John McCain's qualifications for President as well ...

McCain was born on an Army base (or some such) while his father worked on the Panama Canal ... or one of them down there ... so really when you think of it ...

THE LAST ELECTION WAS ILLEGAL

Because technically NEITHER candidate were truly qualified ...

so what is the issue with the Hawaiian certificate?

because the PRACTICE AT THE TIME in Hawaii was that if one of the parents was a Hawaiian citizen, their off-spring were still given the status of a Hawaiian birth even if it took place on a non-Hawaiian location because there are so many small uncharted/unclaimed islands in the area ...

and I can really see a parent forcing the fact to get their child registered as an American citizen to get all the rights & privileges that go along with it ... and yes, I do have to call in question the validity of the declaration of him being born in Honolulu, the state capital, at the time it says ...

because they reported that his grandmother, great-aunt, someone like that - recalls him being born in Africa at the time ...

And for those of you who think "yeah like they were planning from before he was born that he would grow into the President" ... you really must pay attention to life a little more ... if you don't think that the Kennedy's or the Bush's were 'bred' to their positions of power, you better think again ... you need to read "The Omen" series to get a good idea of what some groups will go thru to make sure their plans get carried out ...

Now do I buy into the theory that Obama's parents set this all up from the beginning? or that Obama is the Anti-Christ?  Oh hell no ... that's just silliness in my mind ... I'm just saying that it isn't impossible ... and there are anecdotes which show it can happen.

I do think that one of the motivations was to get some sort of entitlements for him ... I know he has said that his mother worked several jobs to support him, but I haven't heard whether she had gotten any sort of financial support from state/federal programs - so I can't speak to that ... but I could understand where she would want to make sure that he had the rights of a US citizen.

I really DON'T want this man to be President or even the Republican Candidate ... I find him nearly as scary as Obama ...

I don't condemn him too much for switching parties over the years - most people waiver as they grow up and get a new perspective of life ... but the thing that scares me is the fact that he had REGISTERED under so many different parties.  First time, of course ... second time, maybe ... but by the third time you find yourself changing sides - it would dawn on you to register yourself as either "unaffiliated" or "independent".

Susan Luci went on FoxNews to say that there is no word coming from ABC about cancellation of "All My Children".

She said that she has gotten her storyline that goes into next year and that they (ABC) have released the budget for the show into next year as well.

She is blaming it all on some blogger some place saying that they were being cancelled based on ratings.

BREAKING NEWS: Egypt Claims New Government

Okay - so they are claiming again today that Mubarak is at the Red Sea compound and that the Army is in charge but the VP will handle the day-to-day things.

None of this sounds right ...

it looked like the Mubarak speech from yesterday was pre-taped ... but he didn't give any indication that he was actually stepping down.  It seems as if he has conveniently disappeared.

I still say that if he had decided to step down then he would have been calling Isreal, the US, Canada, the Queen/PM of England, etc. to give them the heads up first ... so they would know who they are dealing with.

This really seems to me to be a military coup with the vp as the beard ...

I hope the Egyptian people know what they are getting into and this isn't going to be another Iraq ... you know, they were happy when Saddam got toppled but then didn't have any idea what they would do? and then they complained because they didn't realize just how much the government did.

I hope that things go along peacefully for them without too much interruption of daily life unless its for the better ... but change is never smooth.  Even in a society where things are set up to handle change, there are issues.

The scuttlebutt is that President Mubarak will be stepping down from his post ...

the hope is that it will be in such a way that it will keep the Muslim Brotherhood from taking hold of the country .... fears being that it would make a second Iran-like government in the region ...

Tehrer square has become crowded with people - more than there was during the protests that I've seen ....

now lets hope that this isn't just a ploy to get all the desidents into one area to take them out in a mass 'crack down' ... but I would doubt it.

There has also been rumors that Mubarak will be stepping down at the urging of a military gun ... that there may have been a military coup, in hopes of keeping the cap on things.

I have to wonder if we won't end up with another Uganda situation .... where the military leader gets put into power and then doesn't want to give it up ...

The President said he was going to have a moment of silence for the people killed over the weekend at a "meet your candidate" rally in AZ ... a Judge was killed and AZ's 3-term Senator was shot in the head ... there was also a little 9-yr old girl killed!

So the President and the First Lady come thru the doors, and of course the cameras start clicking, then the couple bowed their heads in what was obviously the start of the Moment-of-Silence ...

He is getting down right testy with the reporters though ... asking "which newspaper do you work for?" of one female reporter over and over when she asked a question he didn't like.  When the other reporters also began asking him why he was dancing around the questions he began to berate them ... accused them of interupting his answers (although the reporters weren't mic'd so they may have been and I just didn't hear it).
Finally he just said that was it and he was done.

I don't know what else to call this person ... for the 5th time some one has shot at a military instillation in DC  - Forensics is linking the weapon (news said gun, but any one who has seen "Full Metal Jacket" knows better!)  so they are pretty sure that they are looking at a single weapon for all five.

BREAKING NEWS: Kucinich on Health Care

Well Kucinich (D-OH) has been called up to the White House to speak to the President - why? Because Kucinich stood against the Health Care bill ... he was a staunch OPPONENT.

So what is his position now? Well he is currently having a press conference now speaking about where his stance will be now.

He says he believes that health care is a civil right (if that's the case, it wouldn't cost any one anything, not even taxes)

he says he understands that the health care vote will be very close, and that he has fought for health care under two administrations.

Kucinich says that he has to vote on the bill, not as he would like it to be ... but as it is.

But after discussions with Obama & Pelosi ... he is deciding to vote FOR the bill -- even though he hates the bill as it is written now.

He says people are against it because they fear things that seem as coming from foriegn thoughts because of 9/11 ..... hello - this is an issue that has been chatted/kicked around since the 1920's.

Way to sell out the People to further your political career!

He swore up and down that he would not vote for this bill because it is a BAD bill .... now he is going to vote yes and HOPE they can CHANGE it later.

What an idiot .... what bill has EVER been passed that has been 'made better' after its been passed??????

I hope he gets voted out when his seat comes up. Not because he's voting for this (it was going to pass no matter what, Obama & Pelosi want their 'legacy') but because he sold out his convictions for political gain.

BREAKING NEWS: District Wide Lockdown

UPDATE 1:
the threat was shortly before 730am this morning. A young male said he was going to shoot up the school and then shoot himself. This was left on the 3-11 phone system on the district (have not idea what thats for, I'll get back to you).

No specific school was mentioned but they took it all very seriously - so that was why they locked down ALL the schools.

They also said that they have forensic specialists in electronics hunting down whoever posted simular messages on Facebook & My Space around the same time ... one can bet that St. Paul police will also do the same for the email that was sent to Cretin-Durham Hall.

The Mpls. School system has locked down ALL their K-12 schools because of something that was posted on Facebook & My Space. That is 60 schools, 35,000 students, 6,200 staff members.

They have the schools at "Code Orange" ... that means that once in the classrooms the kids are not allowed out (not even bathroom breaks from my understanding) .... they can not mingle in the halls - straight to class ... no one is allowed to come into the buildings except authorized personale ... and they are not allowing parents to pick their kids up -- well okay, they are asking firmly that parents not pull their kids.

One school in neighboring St. Paul, Cretin-Durham high school, is also on Lock-Down. They recieved an email with a simular threat. But it has to be said that Cretin-Durham has quite a few Mpls. based students at their school. Cretin is a private Catholic school, they have a military program (more than just JROTC) ...

Expo Magnet school also went on Lock Down for a time, but only because of its poximity to Cretin-Durham ... NOT because of any specific threat.

BREAKING NEWS: Police Surround Washington DC Hotel

Washington DC under siege by protesters surrounding the Ritz-Carlson ... the police have the doors & gates blocked to keep the protestors outside, where the police think they will storm the hotel!

Arrests have been made already ... amongst them AFL/CIO & SCIU officials -- but the reporter wasn't clear whether it was the police that arrested them, or if it was the protestors who seem to be making some - or trying to make some - citizen arrests on the Health execs (more on this farther down)

Protestors & police are both trying to keep the media back -- the police I think in hopes that the media will go away and the crowd will disperse since most just want to be on tv ... the protestors because the media will catch (a) the true size of the crowd [like they did the 'million man march'] and (b) it will catch the questionable activities [such as at the RNC convention in St.Paul]

so what is going on inside?

AHIB (American Health Insurance Providers) is meeting inside.
also inside are: health care providers, health care lobbyists, Wal-Mart senior people for health care, corporation ce's for health care

What are they doing in there?

They are trying to enjoy a luncheon. and yes they can hear the protests but they are continuing on with what they are doing .... the protestors aren't stopping them. but I have not heard about what they talking about - whether it is what to do if the bill passes or how to prevent it from passing.

So when did this all start?

They were wilded up by Howard Dean at the very beginning at the main meeting place (Dupont Circle) this morning -- yeah you remember that Democratic Presidential candidate by his scream at a rally.

Dean also came right out and said that this bill should be pushed thru by Reconciliation - if you haven't heard a definition of this yet, it basically means that the Senate ignores the rules set forth by our Forefathers and pushes the bill thru with only 51 votes instead of the constituionally required 2/3 majority. It is a senatorial act that is supposed to be only reserved for measures to balance the budget, not pass law.

So who is in the crowd?

They are from a group called "Health Care for America Now" and from the main Unions which Obama has been kissing-ass with .... AFL/CIO & SCIU ... as well as several regular people who have been drawn in. There are protestors there dressed completely in pink, so I'm thinking they are from Code Pink [that nutty group that was protesting in front of the recruiting offices in Berkeley and were granted a perminant parking space in front of the building & allowed to use blow horns]

What do they want (besides the obvious Health care reform)?

well they have 'warrants' that they want to serve on the executives of these health insurance agencies for "crimes against health care" .... yeah -- can someone tell them that when they pull boneheaded moves like this The People stop listening and write them off as nut-cases???

So there are protest signs -- what do some of them say?

• "Another _American ???? _ Public Option" {the 'American" and another illegible word were hand scrolled, on an otherwise professionally printed sign, upon a white strip which was obviously glued to the sign -- have to wonder what it was originally meant for, but at least they are practicing recycling, right?}
• "Thank You" ... I'm not joking, one person had a big blue placard that simply said thank you on it.
• "Reform Now ... Insure People. Not Profits" being held up by hand, no stick
• "Listen To Us NOT ...." big red sign, cut off by angle of shot ... can't tell you who they aren't supposed to listen to.

Fox News caught one rather large woman on tape (someone should tell her that under the Obama bill, she would be penalized for her weight and recieve less coverage than anyone else) who was just coming to the protest ... she arrived with a group of those people - all wearing dark blue shirts with a logo across the front ... it was hard to read but it said 'reform ... care .... now" I think ....

but what drew my attention to her wasn't her size ... nor the difficulty she had taking steps which was obviously not made easier by her weight ....

it was her back pack -- which had yellow caution tape of some sort stick out its top and hung down her back. Yeah .... wonder what that is for? If any of you have ever gone into a hardware store you know this stuff is sold by the roll and that it comes in many colors and with different sayings ... I have no idea what this one says on it -- but it is obvious that she got this tape second-hand and that it wasn't still on the roll.

So where do they go from here after the luncheon?

No one seems to know ... they are thinking that when the media leaves the crowd will simply disperse and not be heard from for the rest of the day until the next big get-together.

So Fox news had the best coverage before the lunch break on the Health Care Summit .... they just let it broadcast ...

no commentary during .... the Senators/Representatives/President/VP .... Dems & Republicans .... could either exault themselves or hang themselves by their OWN words.

Fox was the only news station that was allowing this to happen -- CNN & MSNBC felt the need to interject with experts & commentary ....

My what a difference an hour makes.

now suddenly the anchor can't shut the f--- up!! So now Fox has the summit in the background, no sound, and lots of interviews & talking over the top.

I have had to switch over to CSPAN3 in order to get straight coverage .... so there is a bunch that I will be missing when I cover the actual summit .... so don't be upset --- its not my fault.

Things that make you go "HMMM"

So the President is having his Health Care summit today .... yes I'm recording it for chatting about later .... any how about 11am I decided to see if one of the other two major cable news networks had different shots or better audio (I keep hearing background music on Fox that usually signifies station-identification) ....

Instead of hearing the summit on CNN and MSNBC, they had the summit in the background without sound and then they had people talking and analyzing was was being said instead of letting people listen to it themselves.

What is with that?

I mean if you aren't going to let the people hear the points themselves -- then don't cover the stupid thing 'live' .... film it and edit it to what you want the people to know --- at least be up-front with your wanting to control the information that is getting out there.

It was HORRIBLE!!!!

MSNBC & CNN did go back to life coverage just in time for McCain to speak -- I still think he is more Dem than Rep .... just like Leiberman is more Rep than Dem -- but is what he says so much more important than anyone else on that panel?

C'MON!!! Equal time ... heck, were he on the committee, I'd even say to give Franken(stein) a chance to be heard by the public.

An Act of Natural Selection

A driver of a car smashed thru the gates at Luke Air Force base ... so the MPs on duty took them out - blasted the crap out of the car ... killing one and wounding the other (no word as to which died, passenger or driver, but I would guess driver)

people in the building could not get into the hallways because of smoke & fire
a glass company, Bensenior (?) Glass employee used his ladder to help people out of building
the glass company worked out of the building and sent other trucks/ladders to help people out as well ... those rescued also helped others out of building.

• FBI offices in nearby building but not one hit
• FBI saying they do NOT consider it a terrorist attack
• the IRS is located in this building
• there is an adult school in the building
• NORAD launched F-16s - just in case
• there are 17000 small craft air fields in US, only 450 have control towers
• small craft don't always have to file flight plans
• 15 fields are close to where the accident happened - none so far say the plane came from there
• NTSB: feel it was an intentional act

two people have been hurt for sure, but there is still little word about how many people or even who was on board the plane.

New numbers for Newly Unemployed are in – up 17,000 in a SINGLE WEEK … 474,000 people have filed new first-time claims for unemployment. On top of that are 5.16 million workers who are continuing to collect, and there is no mention or measurement for those who have either (a)ran out of benefits or (b)have given up looking for a job and therefore do not qualify for benefits. Official nation unemployment rates (based on the new claims) was at 10.2% of the population – obviously this number is about 5-10% lower than the true number but there's no way to say for sure.

Just when you thought it w & as bad enough that the Stimulus money didn't go where it was supposed to – that is making jobs.

The Mayor of St. Joseph, MI admits that the money they received in his town went to make a martini bar & Brazillian BBQ shop – when they asked him why he took the money if he knew it was going to be used for a purpose it wasn't intended or needed, he simply said "I would have been stupid to turn down free money" (paraphrased there). Yeah – nothing like having, oh I don't know, integrity & honesty … why should those things ever enter politics.

Washington DC has a hole in its pocket:
CBO (Congressional Budget Office) says the government spent $292,000,000,000 than it took in over the last 2 months …. Not that it spent that much in total – think of it as over-drafting your bank acct or credit card limit by that much. This is worse than last year at this time (under Bush) when they were looking at a $1.4Trillon deficit … and you know its just going to get worse from here.

Word out of DC is that if Congress plays it safe and decides not to pass the "Caps & Trade Bill" which will increase the average family's heating/energy bill by an estimated $1500/yr – the EPA will step in and do it for them … without vote by Congressmen, w/o hearings, w/o the say of the people … all with the President's blessing by the sounds of it. And if they do this – there is nothing to stop them from making things even worse because they won't do it on a market based way – just a flat out way trying to paint with a wide brush over several years.
