only two will be on the debate tonight, since Edwards pulled out. Now I haven't heard of many of the other dem candidates dropping out so I'm surprised that someone hasn't cried for equal time.
This could get nasty.....this could get good.....or it could be totally boring.
campaigning starts way too early these days. it should not take over a year for these people to get their messages out there. The only good thing about the time is it gives them a chance to trip over their own tongues.
I tried going to the DNC's website but was very disappointed that I couldn't get any information--they had a link to who is still on the Republican ticket though?
Does that make sense to you??
It amazed me that on their own website instead of finding out first thing what their party is about, what their candidates stand for, geting a welcoming feeling....I got inindated with what is wrong with the country--the biggest thing on the page is a photo of McCain!!!!!
Hello--its the Democratic site! Why the hell would you put a picture of a candidate from the opposing party anywhere on your site??? Who is running that site over there?
I tell you....it really makes it look like the dems are trying to pull the "look at what the nice hand is doing, ignore the naughty hand" business.
Well that really makes it less likely that I would vote for a dem....if they can't be up front with things what makes us think their candidates can be?
I have checked out the GOP site and they only have one story on there that deals with the democrats and it is about Edwards....but otherwise when you go there you know you are at a Republican site.
It is well organized, very "republican" themed, very clean, very crisp. Wow. what a difference. They do have a feature called "you can't make this up" which tells of voter fraud cases but it isn't pointing fingers at one party or the other-it simply is telling about the cases.
Ahh, but the do have a pull down at the top of the page and on that there is a tab for 'Meet the Democrats' where you can find out things about the democratic candidates. But still there is no photos of Clinton/Obama/Edwards anywhere on the main page (the grab page) and certainly not the largest thing one the first page---that would be the GOP seal and a link to a video clip.
I can't get over the difference!
Here are the links to the
GOP site
DNC site
Check it out for yourself and see if you got the same feelings I did.
