Not what I was expecting

We happen to have one of those Mac&D's where it seems like there's always a mistake with the order. So you have to check the order before you pull out of the drive thru, and in our family it can take quite a while:
6 pops (lids on tight), 2 happy meals, 4 large fries (which usually end up as reg fries in a large sized box-and no they didn't just dump onto the bottom of the bag), 12 cheeseburgers....usually unless Bull-Boy wants something different...these are the toughest part.
If we are lucky we have timed it so they don't have a back log of burgers sitting there and they have to make them or at least part of the order up so we have to sit in one of their special "wait until we get the concept of Fast Food" parking spots...we always make the person wait while we count to be sure.
They have even been so bad as to give us someone else's order completely!
Our local McD's manager too speaks english-you just can't understand any of it. It wasn't until after trying to talk to the guy for 20 minutes and he realized I wasn't going to hang up and walk away(I called on the phone) that he finally got an employee to talk to me--a local kid who knew exactly what I was talking about.

So when I saw this story I thought....see its not just US! But by the sounds of it....this was a simple miscommunication. Either granny had a nip too much-although they did let her go, and if she were nipping at her liquid meds I can't see them doing that after only 90 minutes-or she simply did not underestand the instructions of the window person...or the jerk behind her didn't want to wait for thier meal.

So what took so long to get this woman a coffee and fries??? Its not like they were cutting & parboiling those fries themselves...and the coffee, even with the new 'gourmet' blend, shouldn't take that long to do.
This just doesn't make any sense.

It is very bad mojo for McDonald's----they better do something quick to straighten this mess out.

And just to clearify...I do not have a problem with accents, I had to deal with them all through college...the majority of my T.A.s had an accent that was so thick you needed a saw to get thru it....it is the fact that knowing we were having a communication breakdown and it took him 20 minutes to finally get someone to help me that could understand me.
BTW, the issue still has not been resolved....I HATE my McDonald's. Sad part is, daughter wants to get a job there this summer...I'm afraid what it will do to her IQ.
