Product Detail - Balboa Desserts 8" Mom's Fluffy Coconut Layer Cake
Okay they want $30 for an 8" cake. Granted it is a coconut cake...but you can probably do a better job or at least as good a job on your own.
Just make your favorite cake mix, then frost with 7-minute frosting made with coconut extract-don't worry about imperfections because the whole outside gets covered with shredded coconut...press it into the frosting (if you toast the coconut it will bring out the flavor but will not have that nice white look). Allow the frosting to set up a little bit before cutting so the coconut doesn't all fall off before serving.
I'm sorry but that is just too much money for a cake....especially an 8" cake!!
