Report: Spitzer Linked to Prostitution: "NEW YORK (AP) - Gov. Eliot Spitzer has told senior advisers that he had been involved in a prostitution ring, The New York Times reported Monday, citing an anonymous top administration official.
Spitzer, who is married with three daughters, was scheduled to make an announcement Monday afternoon" Wow .... people are really shocked by this, because he got the job on an image of being 'super clean' and 'non-corruptable'. he also wanted to give illegals driver's licenses.
Ooooo, apparently he has been indicted for his involvement with the prostitution ring! This will be interesting, because its the norm that the 'johns' will just get a slap on the wrist and get a fine .... but this time he is actually being indicted! The indictment came down Feb. 7th and was sealed. Rumors say its because he used a cell phone to set up his 'appointments'.
Geez, he used to be a state attorney and put several criminals behind bars - especially those dealing with corruption. They think he will be able to work out some sort of deal so that he doesn't have to serve jailtime. But like I said, normally people just get a slap on the wrist for this type of thing.
His poor family.
His poor daughters.
His poor wife.
Hillary has to be hating this .... he was a big supporter of hers. Gee another Democrat who is being brought down by sexual acts. I guess he was a hopeful to someday be President too -- Well I guess not now! But then you never know .... everyone still loves Bill.
His replacement will be the Liutenent Governor ... the news is making great pains at pointing out that he is black, and legally blind as if either of those will have anything to do with his being able to hold the job.
I don't know if NY has ever had a black governor .... I'd be surprised if they hadn't though. Nope news anchor just said New York has never had a black governor before.
