"Richard Dreyfuss could soon make the trip to Oliver Stone's White House, entering final negotiations to play Dick Cheney in the provcateur director's upcoming 'W.'"Okay ... Dreyfuss is shorter than Cheney - VP Cheney is reported to be 5' 8" and Dreyfuss is only 5' 5" .... which doesn't seem like much unless you have ever seen them next to each other. Do you think its accidental that they would chose an actor who will be more dimunative stature than the real man? Of course not -- it certainly not the non-existant resemblance between the two men.
" ... with the idea that the movie will be released in October, before Americans elect a new president. A DVD release will follow in January timed to Bush leaving office ..."What? Did you think the timing of the release was hap-hazard? or the release of the DVD? There would be an incredibly short turn around from release to DVD --- one nearly unheard of ... normally they would just got straight to DVD.
Hollywood thinks that people are so stupid that they will never figure out that they are trying to influence the election.
So the next question is ....
What does Hollywood get out of it?
