Because they don't make enough

George Clooney calls for unity among actors - Yahoo! News:

"AFTRA has already reached a tentative agreement with Hollywood studios. SAG wants AFTRA members to vote against the deal, saying its approval will handcuff SAG at the bargaining table"

Yeah because you know ... hollywood actors don't make enough ... maybe the background actors could use a raise but the likes of Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Viggo Mortensen, Holly Hunter, Alec Baldwin, and Harrison Ford make so much money now that I think if you took their salaries from just ONE of their films you could end hunger in any big city!

meanwhile ... one union has struck a deal, now the other union wants them to break that deal because they want better.

I'm telling you --- unions are NOT doing what they were intentionally meant for anymore ... they have become an industry in and of themselves and they need to be dismantled and built up again from scratch.

I'm not saying get rid of unions - that would be silly - but they need some major fixing.
