Pelosi blasts Lieberman:

"Pelosi was asked by a caller on Owens' show what could be done about the attacks from Lieberman, the Democrats' vice presidential nominee in 2000 who is now an independent but still caucuses with the Democrats in the Senate.
'You're right,' Pelosi said. 'Joe Lieberman has said things that are totally irresponsible when it comes to Barack Obama."

It amazes me that the democrats still act as if Lieberman is still answerable to them.

Reality Check: Lieberman has left the democratic party. They did not support him when he ran for his senate seat so he ran as an Independant ... he can support whomever he wants

Reality Check: the Democrats tried to get McCain to switch parties shortly after the last election period .... even promising him at the time a run for President. He did not go for it - he remained Republican although he seems to have many left-wing leanings.

Reality Check: the Democrats do not seem to have an issue when Republicans cross party lines, but they have a great one when members of their party cross over for any single issue.
