First let me say I do support everyone's right to vote -- in fact I think more people should vote who don't.

PRO-OBAMA GROUP "VOTE TODAY OHIO" PICKS UP HOMELESS AND REGISTERS THEM TO VOTE - New York Post:

"CLEVELAND - Volunteers supporting Barack Obama picked up hundreds of people at homeless shelters, soup kitchens and drug-rehab centers and drove them to a polling place yesterday on the last day that Ohioans could register and vote on the same day, almost no questions asked."

however -- in this particular instance .... How in the world do you prove residency??

Because the shelters are temporary living places by definitions they can NOT be used as a permanent address ... soup kitchens are not residences, they are places of business (even if they don't earn money) .... about the only one that gets close are the drug-rehab centers but then they would have records that show how long a person has actually lived there - so any one who has been there less than the required time in OH shouldn't qualify in this 'round up'.

You can bet that these people were told who to vote for .... and as much as I would like to think other wise -- I'm guessing some money probably changed hands at some point ... it has been known to have happened before!
