Hey - Isn't this treason??

Washington Times - Obama tried to sway Iraqis on Bush deal:

"At the same time the Bush administration was negotiating a still elusive agreement to keep the U.S. military in Iraq, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama tried to convince Iraqi leaders in private conversations that the president shouldn't be allowed to enact the deal without congressional approval."

How dare he negotiate or interfere with anything that deals with American foreign policy before Inauguration Day!

WHY aren't people jumping all over this crap??? If this had happened during WW2, Obama would have found his ass in jail (taking the question of race out of it)!

You do not try to undermine the efforts of your President, especially ones involving a foreign nation.

I think most people think of Treason as only involving an act that would hand the power of the country to another country (such as Iran or Cuba) ... but Treason can be defined as "... a betraying, treachery, or breach of allegiance. "

I think this qualifies -- and he knew it, that's why they made sure that neither sides of the conversation recorded the exchange, no proof for court.

HOWEVER since you only need two people to witness the act -- I'm wondering if the interviews would could as testimony ... probably not since they don't have to swear to tell the truth before the interview.

Don't worry though, little lemmings -- the media will bury this like they do every other despicable thing he has done so far ... or if they can't, they will wrap it in the 'race' blanket.
