You can not tell me that Powell didn't know about this before he made his endorsement!

Obama: I Would Make Powell an Adviser in My Administration - FOXNews.com Elections:

"Colin Powell will have a role as a top presidential adviser in an Obama administration, the Democratic White House hopeful said Monday.
'He will have a role as one of my advisers,' Barack Obama said on NBC's 'Today' in an interview aired Monday, a day after Powell, a four-star general and President Bush's former secretary of state, endorsed him."

If he didn't know, then he sent out the flags that let the Obama camp know that that was the price for his endorsement when it was also presented with a claim that Powell keeps his ears open for any call. However - my guess is that while Obama himself didn't mention it to Powell, chances are extremely great that one of Obama's higher staffers did.

Never trust endorsements -- the endorsers always have ulterior motives!!!
