So how exactly are these words 'racist'? I think the Obama campaign is dong a 'Swiftboat' campaign of their own -- and people are falling for it.

Analysis: Palin's words carry racial tinge:

"'Our opponent ... is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country,' Palin told a group of donors in Englewood, Colo. A deliberate attempt to smear Obama, McCain's ticket-mate echoed the line at three separate events Saturday."

Actually there IS lots of evidence that links Obama to all these people (no denying Rev. Wright ... and as for Ayers - how much more evidence do you need?) but the media is chosing to discount it because Obama says to.

I just want to know why if a conservative (doesn't matter the party) says that there is nothing there, the media digs and implies til the person is destroyed without regard or shame --- but as soon as a liberal (no matter the party, until this year - remember McCain was their sweetheart until he became a candidate) has the same things asked about them, the media discounts it and forgives them?
