They have got to get some people who actually know something about agriculture to work on these reports -- not just classroom study but practical experience.

"People will have to be rationed to four modest portions of meat and one litre of milk a week if the world is to avoid run-away climate change, a major new report warns."

1> it is the flatuence from the animals that is 'contributing' to global warming (yeah, right) ... so eating more meat would help solve the problem, not less -- the more you eat the fewer animals there are, DUH!

2> milk will not keep for extended periods of time unless you freeze it, so that you put more stress on the atmosphere as more freezers (with frion) would have to run .... or else soon you would find that the milking animals would dry up - unless you breed them, which would make more animals ... see issue #1.

what idiots!

only they would come up with a solution that will make the problem worse.
