First, I think the father's an ass ... but I will defend his right to name his kid what he wants

Look - we may not like the names or why he picked them -- but there is nothing in the constitution that prevents a person from naming their kids anything they want.

We have people changing their names to wacky stuff all the time .... one wanted to change his name to a some number but he was turned down for no other reason than the state's computers wouldn't recognize a name that started with a numberal ... so he spelled out the number and he was fine.

We may not agree with the family's politics, or their views of the world, but we can not start limiting their freedoms because we don't like it --- what would be next?

We start procacuting people for driving SUVs, or smoking, or .... wait they already do that. Oh I know, we will start taking people's land/homes because some development can pay more taxes .... oh wait they do that now too.

Hmmm ... we really are losing our personal freedoms aren't we?

I'm sorry - I don't think its abuse to name your kid Adolf Hilter anymore that it is to name them Twanda Lequisha or Byron or Jesus or naming a boy Tracy or Marion -- its not our choice ... if that's the case then they have to start publishing names which are forbidden.

I do feel sorry for the kid -- but it is hardly 'abuse' ... how about we blame the bullies for their actions nstead.
