My guess is that until the flack for the sentence came out she had absolutley no issue with her sttement.
Sorry but if you swap the races or the sex in that sentence ... there would be big problems ....
On the local bench drawing from a personal perspective is fine ... but on the Supreme Court she needs to set all that aside and rule JUST by the rule of law - no filters. I don't think she would even rule from an 'interpretive' view of the law .... I really feel she would legislate from the bench!
I would love a woman in that seat, don't care the race ....
but really dislike the "us against them" mentality that she seems to have.
