see the problem for them is this .... Federal Law allows each state to set up the rules surrounding the final appointment of elected officials.

And according to MN law the Governor & State Attorney General can not certify a winner until ALL legal challenges are settled ....

which means that even if Coleman took it to the US Supreme Court, they (the dems) would have to wait until the Judges came down with their decision.

And as much as I would love to see the MN Supreme court look at the tallies and go 'what the hell??" over all the discrempancies --- the missing ballots for counted votes, the double counting of votes, the mystery votes that were called in that were just the right amount to trigger a recount, the absentee ballots that magically appeared days later in an election judges car ---- as much as I would love all that to make them scratch their heads and go =---=

we can't pick a winner .... let the Governor appoint one .... it will never happen .... why??

Remember that it was the Supreme court who had to pick who it was that was sitting on the 3 judge panel .... the same panel that allowed the questionable votes in. It reverse them would be like saying 'we made a mistake' -- and I'm sorry, they aren't going to do that.

when they first start realizing how much trouble this was going to be - especially with thee missing votes -- they should have ordered a special election and had a run-off.

that is the only way to settle this .... but then, I doubt anyone has bothered to look to see if any of the NEW registeries were valid or not.
