RECALL: Swift Beef Products

KSTP TV - Minneapolis and St. Paul - JBS Swift Beef Co. expands beef recall:

"The U.S. Department of Agriculture said Sunday that all the beef products in the expanded recall were produced April 21 and are in boxes bearing 'EST. 969,' a package date of '042109' and a time stamp ranging from '0618' to '1130.'"

Now my understanding is that they are sold under the Swift Premium label .... there is no list of stores involved but the following states had shipments:

Arizona
California
Colorado
Florida
Illinois
Michigan
Minnesota
Nebraska
Oregon
South Carolina
Tennesee
Utah
Wisconsin

the products were made April 21-22, but with the way people freeze things and save them you will want to check your freezers for possible products as well. Check your boxes carefully.
