Spending us back to the stone age

Congress will be spending a record amount of money this year ... and no you can't blame Bush for this one.

They will be spending almost $4TRILLION this year alone.

$1.38Trillion ... Entitlement Programs ( incl. but not limited to SocSec/Medicare/Medicaid/S-Chip)
$758Billion .... Housing & Commerce (mostly bailout money)
$690Billion ... National Defense (okay need this one)
$106Billion ... Unemployment Benefits

One analyst says goverment has expanded a record 33% this year alone, and its not going to expire at end of the recession - these are permanent changes.

and - no - this doesn't include the health care bill yet .... for that, add at least another $2Trillion.
