In PA they are making curbs ... for no reason.
You read that right ... workers are putting in curbs - where there are NO SIDEWALKS!! You get crosswalks, signals, and handicap curbs where they CAN'T be used. ok, maybe regular foot traffic could use them ... but if there are no sidewalks wheelchairs cant!
Chester county PA officials say they have no idea why this is happening ... that apparently there is some state/fed law in force here that no one seems to know about.
what's paying for all this?
Stimulus money -- $13Million of it is earmarked for 4000 other ramps whether they are needed or not.
