Most Major News Outlets Largely Ignore Van Jones Controversy - Political News - FOXNews.com:

"For weeks, conservative media led by FOX News commentator Glenn Beck has been criticizing Jones, a former self-avowed Marxist and anarchist, for his remarks and radical views, including his February denunciation of Republicans as 'assholes' -- a statement that came to light on Wednesday. "

Well its a bit of a mis-nomer, they make it sound like Fox News drummed up this stuff - when in reality it was brought up before and ignored by the media .... Beck was the one who revived it and brought it all to light again - but they make it sound like Beck had some sort of vandetta.

While I may not like the way that Beck expresses himself on his show, he does bring up many good points (wrapped in Limbaugh-ish attitude & arrogance)

" Jones issued two apologies last week -- for his statement on Republicans and for signing a petition that suggested the U.S. government was involved in the Sept 11. terrorist attacks -- and the White House responded to the growing controversy on Friday. Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs said Jones continued to work in the administration and asserted that the president didn't agree with his controversial statements."

Of course the President did, it worked for Rev. Wright and his statements - why wouldn't it work for a professed anarchist and communist (I know it sounds like a contridiction), but together they make socialists don't they? Look the President either has to stand up and say he doesnt care about this man's political party, say he agrees with parts of (and name the parts) of his beliefs, or admit that he also agrees whole heartedly with everything the man believes.

But he can't do that, can he? He is already working on his re-election .... he doesn't seem to be as concerned about doing his job as he is about getting his talking points out there --- I don't think FDR spoke so much during WW2, I don't think Johnson made so many speeches during Vietnam.

Mr President -- get off the campaign trail and please start doing the job the people elected you for .... stop letting Congress ride shot-rod over the nation. You were voted in to lead not to stomp.

For the record -- I didn't think the remarks that the republicans were a/h's was that bad .... he just spoke in public what people have been saying behind closed doors about anyone in politics.

And I don't even care that much about his political party, it was just that he was passing himself off as 'democrat' and was in one of the many super-power positions where he was able to make policy without having to answer to congress --- or the people of the nation!!

Since czars aren't elected - the only way they can leave their position is to either resign or be kicked out by the current President ... and as we have seen, President Obama tends to turn a "blind eye" to things people do - not the best quality in someone who is supposed to be representing, at least in part, the integrety of the US.
