Obama Time

Well - wasn't that 'productive" ... Chicago didn't get the Olympics ... so he wasted not only time that should have been used for issues facing the people of the United States, not only didn't he do much to help Global Warming (you know that thing he believes in and vowed to fight against) but he gave the US a black eye.

I can't help but think that maybe this Bitch-Slap from the IOC might make him realize that he is NOT the second coming and that the World is not going to bow to his whims just because he says they should.

I still feel it is going to go to Rio - since the Olympics has NEVER been in South America, and Brazil is a fairly stable country - you don't hear of a lot of problems there ... but there are issues in general in South America. Although they are saying on the news is a terrible poverty & crime problem ... they have crowded shanty towns which even the police won't go into~wow, you never hear about that.

The other city is Madrid (Tokyo got kicked out with Chicago) ... they say they have a foot up because the former head (for decades) of the IOC is from Madrid - in fact he made a plea to have it there since he is 84 yrs old or something and it will be the last Olympic games he will see.

Personally we will see ... Montreal has had to put out $1BILLION just in basics to get ready for the Olympics to come, that's not including extra EMT personale to have on hand or other services which will be needed.
