The issue with this letter is that it is only signed by republican senators.
if they could have gotten just one democrat or even Lieberman (currently an independent, he's still in office, right?)
By the wounds of it, the FBI was NOT sent right away after the Libyans claimed they got things under control ...
this means that the crime scene has been trampled on and may have had evidence removed.
Heck if Libya had sent in some sort of investigation team themselves at least some of the evidence would have been preserved ...
maybe ...
if they didn't try to hide anything ...
like maybe they are having issues the way the Afghanistan army/Iraqi police are having issues screen out those who are really there to break up the new government.
