But the only part that most people hear is "go back" they don the pay Amy attention to the whole "come back" part ... it's a poorly worded sentiment that people have said for decades, generations ... doesn't make it right, just makes it common - kind of like the "tar baby" reference made by Ross Perro - his generation knew the story, but it was scene as a racial slur instead of a metaphor for a sticky situation.
What made it worse was that it appears to have been directed towards a group of 4 women even though only 1 of them was born outside of the USA and immigrated into the country.

It was pure "Twitter bait" which Trump bit-
This of course led to Nancy Pelosi calling for Trump to be condemned by Congress for the original posting/tweet
They however have never taken Omar or AOC to task for their comments about Jewish people or the Holocauste!
