The House of Repe
Resentatives has finally decided to stop bickering long enough to pass 2 major budget issues
The first item they passed was a request by the pPresident for $733BILLION for defense ... I have not heard if this includes money for the border, if it goes to both military AND homeland security, or if it's just for the military ... I did hear however that the House was looking into ways of shackling Trump from taking any actions towards Iran without the House getting involved ... well, we know he cannot declare war, but he is in charge of those nuclear codes!!
The other is funding for the 911 First Responders ... the funding was scheduled to run out in 2020
This bill will now be sent to the Senate where hopefully it will pass without any issues -- otherwise it will have to go to committee and then start the entire process again ...
Below are screenshots of the 9/11 vote and Mitch McConnells expectation of the bill in the Sebate
(Find out who the 21 Republicans were who didn't vote Yea and find out why!)
