The President came out CONDEMNING the shootings right away and on Monday (Aug 5th) he said he'd like to see a FEDERAL Red Flag law - it's a law which would allow someone s guns to be take a way while their mental health is accessed .... it's not perfect BUT it is something - even my state's governor has been talking about it for a while.
During the Presidents speech he said that video games are likely making the younger generation "numb" and emotionally unattached to other people & life ...
Of course if you watched CNN or MSNBC you heard them say he never said such things -- even though HE. JUST. DID!!
Here are some screen shots ... the politicians shown either blamed Trump directly for the shootings at an anti-gun gathering in San Diego or in El Paso, TX ... there was even a congresswoman from TX who said Trump should stay away because this was "his fault"
(Now last I checked this has been in the news for some 20 yrs or so - I don't really think this is Trumps "fault" anymore than it was Obama's or Clinton's or either Bush's faults)
How about we let the FBU do their jobs - and we let the families grieve a bit before we bring politics into it?? Huh???
