REDIFINING "MORMAL" JUST GOT REDIFINED ... BY THE PRESS SECETARY

 So, I'm watching "Fox News Sunday" ... I know, but I like it ... and they had an update on President Biden's health with the virus ... you know he caught it, right?  Even though he's all caught up with his vaccines, he still got it ... insert eye roll here -- this really does seem like a yearly "flu shot" where they have to guess which varient is going to be the most popular and that's the one they put out ... but I digress

Anyways, the White House physician put out a statement saying the President is dong well, that his oxygen levels are "excellent" but that they put him on an INHALER for a COUGH?! 

wait ... an inhaler for a cough?  That raises a red flag ... generally inhalers are used to deliver meds deep into the lungs, for relieving such things as asthma -- asthma is NO REASON to view the President as "feeble" or unable to do his job ... Hell - Teddy Roosevelt had asthma!! and it was DEADLY back then - these days they can treat it so well that people with it can live to be over 100 years old!

So that was the first problem ... the next few "redefinitions" come straight from the WHite House Press Secetary ... this gal is supposed to have KNOWLEDGE and speak with same.

OMG - here's what she said:

"He did not have a fever last night, just to make that clear - I think Dr. Jon made that very clear - 99.4F is not a fever, its not even a low-grade fever"

WHAT?? Yes it IS a fever, and Yes it is a LOW-GRADE fever ... as a parent I can tell you that it definitely IS a fever.  I feel WORSE when I have a fever like this than I do when I'm above 101F! 

"...he gave the Tylenol for discomfort"

Depends on the "discomfort" to which she is referring ... muscle pain? Advil works better, I find ... Headache? Yes Tylenol is better ... Fever? Tylenol works best, in most cases unless it's quite high or the Tylenol doesn't touch it.

I've worked with a LOT of doctor's in my life ... by work I mean we've had a lot of dr.s since having kids ... and I can tell you, the majority of the time when they have said to give Tylenol its been for FEVER and not discomfort.

Yeah ... Don't pee on our leg and tell us it's raining!

The President is SICK ... got it.  He is STILL ABLE to work ... got it.  Kamala Harris still is NOT President, not even Working President ... THANK GOD!!

Yup -- Biden was smart picking her as his Vice-President!

They do say Joe could resume his regular schedule of duties on Wednesday if he tests negative.  

When my husband and daughter contracted the virus during the first round last summer - yup, they had the nasty strain, but neither had to go to the hospital - they were told that they likely would NOT test negative for 3-6 months because the anti-bodies would be that active in their system.  Hubby was FORCED to get a shot at the beginning of the year or he would have lost his job, even though he had acquired NATURAL IMMUNITY from that strain ... and it was a very controversial thing at the time.

So I wonder WHAT test they will be running on the President which will not register the Antibodies in his system which would equate to a Positive result ... perhaps they have simply REDEFINED they results??
