NOT SNOWY ENOUGH FOR ME

 I have been saying this since I was a bit of a child ... in fact, I had wished for a full year of winter at one point ... until I found out what that would mean for crops/animals/people/etc.

So now, as an adult, I find just watching videos of snowier places than the upper midwest is as close as I'm willing to get ... 

I love the snow
I hate the cold

You go in/out of tunnels
You go up/down hills/mountains
You go in/arund towns
And see some of the most beautiful scenery.
Sometimes you will even see a blizzard!! (well, what they call a blizzard these days)

Tonight I saw ... and I couldn't believe it ... a total failure of the windshield wiper!
Okay, yes I know - trains don't oftern have to worry about traffic before them, but it is a  tad concerning nonetheless ... its a maintainance thing ...
The driver had pulled into a station, hit the washer spray, clicked the wiper - and NOTHING was moved by the wiper, it just slid down the windshield as usual.
I thought - and appatently the engineer did too - that once the train picked up speed, the drag of the air pushing the wiper against the windshield ... made pretty good sense
You would think ...
They tried it agian ... again NOTHINg happened.
