STUPID STATEMENT OF THE DAY ...

 I cannot believe I am about to say this - I love watching Outnumbered on Fox News Channel (FNC) .....I don't know what it is about the way they present the news, but I think I might be "addicted" to it ... JOKING!

Today, the panel was talking about Mr. Biden & Mr. Trump's polling numbers in the states of Michigan and Wisconsin ... and how people seem to trust Mr. Trump on getting illegal immigration under control more than Mr. Biden, the CURRENT President...

when one of the ladies (I want to say it was Kayleigh McEnany, but I could be wrong) said the absolutely STUPIDEST thing ...

"... Michigan not a border state, Wisconsin not a border state ...

WHAT???

Yes they are ... granted, there are bodies of water which lie between, but YES they ARE indeed BORDER STATES ...

CANADA!!!!!

Whether you consider them a threat or not, we do indeed have NORTHERN BORDER states ....

which are seeing and INCREASE of ILLEGAL crossings as well!!!

It is very interesting that people seem to ignore this fact ... but while Canadians come across as mellow, kind, polite, beer drinkers ... they DO break the law ...

In fact, during the 20th century they would bring in illegal drugs ... and still do, I'm betting ... I've heard Washington state has a huge problem with drug smuggling across their borders.

Also, during the 2010's it was known that several foreign nationals came over the Canadian borders illegally.

Illegal crossings from Canada are actually much more common on the unguarded shorelines, and wooded areas of the Northern border states than across the Southern border ...

They tend to AVOID such places as Niagra Falls, NY and Sault Ste. Marie, MI ... they have even been known to go across Lake Superior ... there are several small islands close to the USA, which can serve as "rest stops" ...

so ... Yes, Michigan AND Wisconsin ARE BOTH border states ...

As are the states of:

Idaho
Montana
North Dakota
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Michigan
Indiana
Ohio
New York
Pennsyvania
Vermont
New Hampshire
Maine
West Virginia (there's a tinsy tiny sliver that goes up between Ohio & Pennsyvania ... so thin, that most maps don't even recognize it as a border state)

During the 2008 election, I seem to recall the Northern border being blamed for supplying drugs during the much talked of Opiod Crisis ... which is still going on but is now being pretty much ignored by national news media ....
I'm going to guess its because they haven't done ANYTHING to ge Canada to get it under control.
And the images on the Suouthern border are so much more .... DRAMATIC
