They are repeating a lot of the same chants again but this time I was able to hear some of the stuff I missed when I wrote the last one ...
They are repeating that Palestine is occupied ... EXCUSE ME????
NO - Istael is NOT occupying Gaza or Palestine, on the whole ...
When you say "occupation" I think of France during WW2 ... Poland during WW2 ... and tthat is NOT what's going on here.
They are also screaming about stopping APARTIED .... WHAT????
Apartied (I'm prety sure I spelled that wrong) was what SOUTH AFRICA went through in the 1980s until 2000s or so - Don't really know when it stopped ... but it is NOT what's happening in Gaza at all ....
My understanding - is that it was as close you could get to slavery without actually enslaving anyone ... there's a comedian from South Africa who tells a story about how his father, who was white, had to walk on a different side of the street from him and his mother BY LAW ...
That is NOT what is going on in Palestine!!!!
