AURORA, COLORADO ....

Okay - So I am watching this week's Fox News Sunday (FOX, local KMSP) .... figured I better specify since I have 3 of them sitting in my DVR cue .... so sad ...

Anyways - Shannon Breen was interviewing the Governor of Colorado, Jared Pous (I kid you not) .... and he denies that there are gangs taking over apartment complexes in Aurora .... he says the police chief says it's not happening, neither does the mayor of the city.

Shannon brought out the fact .... which I have heard for the first time .... that the BANK which holds the MORTGAGE loan on the property sent out their own INVESTIGATORS ....

and found it was TRUE!!!

That gangs HAVE taken over complexes ... and it sounds like it is more than one complex in question!

Now - the bank only has a fical tie to he property .... whereas the mayor has to try to keep jobs/residents in the area .... the police are interested in keeping the crime stats down ....

Fox News, once they got the info about what the bank found, sent out their own team to check things out ....

They talked to police on the beat .... not the office patrol ... and found that, yes, they have had several problems with the gangs in the area of the apartments .... but they are told not to interfer unless they can show there's someone in danger .... wow.

They talked to residents who live in the complexes where the issues are supposed to be - and they say YES there is a real problem.

The Governor seems to be of the opinion that everyone is just exaggerating ....

So Shannon asked him if he believed that crossing the border illegally was a crime?

He gave a convoluted answer which basically said .... No .... he said that most of the immigrants are from Venezuela, so they are refugees automatically - even if they have not had a hearing yet - but he while he didn't say "yes", he didn't say "no" either.

He thinks the Venezuelan gangs should be handled just like the Crypts and Bloods .... however they are classified, he says these gangs should be classified the same way ....

Soooooo .... NOTHING will be done.

After all, they've been trying to get rid of the Crypts and Bloods for some 40 years!!!

Well - Shannon changed subjects ... abortion.

Did you know the Governor of Colorado wants to use tax payer money to PAY for some abortions????

Ummmm, you can't do that!

You cannot use funds, into which everyone puts in money, to pay for something which only a fraction of said group agrees with.  At least that's what I take from the Little Sister's Of The Poor v. United States verdict said ....

They showed a clip where Harris was asked directly about RELIGIOUS EXEMPTIONS of doctors/nurses who do not wish to participate in an aborion .... 
her answer?

"I don't think we should be granting concessions when we're talking abou a fundimental freedom of making decisions of your own body."

So Harris will force ALL DOCTORS/NURSES to perform abortions - despite how they feel ...

So their Rights and freedoms will be LESS THAN the woman seeking the procedure?

That's not fair either .... and it's UNCONSTITUTIONAL ... as it stands!!!

So she is fundementally getting rid of the FREEDOM OF RELIGION and religious beliefs in one fare swoop!!

And don't kid yourself - that's exactly what it will be .... and no one seems to understand this - until it infringes upon YOUR beliefs.
