Oh Man - I just finished lisening to Friday's episode of Garage Logic (podcast, YouTube) .... and for some reason, the Live Stream was cut into 2 parts - I don' know if it was an issue with YouTube, or if it was an issue at the studio, or maybe it was just a fluke ...
They had on 2 special guests .... at the same time - although it seemed as if they were only interested in the woman ....
The ttopic of the interview started about when the Dems were going to return to the Capital .... sounds like it could be March or April if they get their way .... drawing salary all that time, though ....
It covered the unlawful running of a candidate who did NOT live in the city where he was running - in fact, he lived in a whole other district - as well as who knew what and when .... etc.
But mostly - and it's the main part of this half of the show - is a close look at the University of Minnesota's Budget ... and HOW it is being used, and why they seem to never get enough money, in the U of M's eyes.
I graduated from the U of M back in the 1980s .... and I agree, their budget has got to get looked into .... OMGs - I can not tell you how many classes I took where LESS THAN 1/3-1/4 of the CLASSROOMS were actually being used -- but the U of M was still building NEW classroom buildings .... because they claimed they didn't have enough space ...
EXCUSE ME??????
No - tell the truth .... as taxpayers, we deserve at least that much .... you just want fancy new buildings because you think it will bring in MORE MONEY ....
It's just so sade!!
Pick through their budget, please ....
And if you find a waste ... please make they PAY IT BACK ... then maybe, you can cut down some of the taxes we have to pay!!!!!
