Okay - begore I begin .... let me first say, I am NOT a Democrat, I am NOT a Republican, I'm NOT even an Independant any longer, since it has actually become a political party in my state ....
I AM an Unaffiliated Conservative (at t least fiscally) and a bit of a socially Liberal .... like the MAJORITY OF AMERICA right now ....
So, Texas Democrats - who have RAN AWAY to avoid one vote, and hurting everyone else by missing another - you all are coming acrossed as absolute BABIES!!!!!!
I have an idea ....
Instead of running to A DIFFERENT STATE - where you DON'T have a vote - get your butts back HOME to Texas and FIGHT for what you say you believe in!!!
Stop pulling this whole "boo hoo, we can't win" .... say, okay, we won't win BUT let's give it a good go!
Go down SWINGING .... IN TEXAS ....taking a "stand" in Illimois ... or Massachusetts ... or New York .... or wherever you decided to take this unscheduled "vacation" - cuz you know they ain't doing any work - and SHOW people the HUTSPA you've got ....
But Don't do it from a different state ....
You aren't being a Yexan .... you've turned tail and ran .... Texans don't do that - they might find higher ground, but they are gonna fight, they don't RUN from a fight.
Remember the Alamo!!!!
Get your butts back to Texas .... help those harmed by those horrible floods.
