Yea, I gave it away - this case involves a loss in 2022 in the state of Illinios (imagine that) where a couple of Republicans running for office - so it wasn't just one person, it was at least 2 effected - who felt they were harmed by the IL law which said ballots could be counted for up to 2 WEEKS AFTER the actual election date, in particular, those which came in via USPS mail (aka Absentee ballots).
Well - it seems the plantiff's (Republicans) were found not to have standing - that is they didn't have a leg to stand on. In fact, the state board of Appeals found they had "self inflicted wounds" by needing to keep staff for those additional 2 weeks while all the ballots were counted.
Yes - in outher words, just accept the fact that IL is rigged against you and move on. (Eye Roll Here) ...
Well I hadn't heard about this case on ANY news channel, yet (I
m behind this week) but instead, it was an episode of Facts Matter on YouTube.
Here's the episode in which they talk about the Supreme Courts take on it ... Wow is all I have to say.
