1. this man is 79 yrs old---he grew up in a world totally different than ours....it is not surprising that these attitudes will reveil themselves.
2. he claims he was totally misquoted....to tell the truth, I believe him. There really were studies done that said one group of people were brighter than others--now adays we look at these studies and can pick out all the problems with them...but back then they were taken very seriously--and before you think they were so far gone, I remember reading one very simular one in the 80's at University. And it wasn't that long ago that there were studies released that said that girls weren't at good at the sciences as boys, like in the 90's.
3. what happened to free speech? We may not agree with what someone says, but it doesn't mean they don't have the right to say it.
