Why are they not looking into this further???

Man drowns in Wis. area notorious for alcohol-related deaths:
"Exactly a year ago Sunday, as Oktoberfest was beginning, 21-year-old University of Wisconsin-La Crosse basketball player Luke Homan disappeared after a night of heavy drinking.

His body was found two days later in the Mississippi, making him the eighth college-aged man since 1997 to drown in an area river after binge drinking. Melancon makes nine.

The spate of deaths sparked rumors a serial killer was stalking city bars, but police and the FBI insist the drownings were drunken accidents.

Still, police said last year they now believed someone threw University of Minnesota student Chris Jenkins off a Mississippi bridge in Minneapolis, reversing their initial conclusion that his death was a suicide
.

Okay so they know that at least one of the deaths was not accidental....yet they refuse to admit it was a serial killer?? Nope sorry, I have got to agree with locals....once is a shame, twice is a tragedy, this many-there is something funny going on, especially when it all seems to happen in the same area.

Why the heck they aren't putting up some sort of monitoring is beyond me---its not like its a small town (they have a pop. of 50,000)!

If I remember correctly, and I could be wrong, all victims were male save one....she was short haired, athletic, and about the size of a small male...bundled up from the cold, she could have easily been mistook for a guy. Bodies were generally found days after death meaning DNA evidence is scarce to non-existant...nope, I think they need to do some profiling here.

Someone doesn't just "fall" over a waist-high railing, that takes effort...and by the sounds of the latest victim it would have taken tremedous effort to throw him over! No I truely believe there is something else going on here.
