Judge allows casino caucuses to proceed - CNN.com

1. why are Unions allowed to give endorsments, or newspapers for that matter?
2. what took them so long to find the issues with the caucus sites? I've seen video of Slick Willie saying that it was buried in the wording and it took 10months to find it, and that it gives the casino caucus' 5times the power as a normal caucus site.
3. Why did Nevada allow a change in the rules in the first place, allowing people to caucus where they worked instead of where they live? Sounds like a great way to encourage voter fraud--or the Nevada Attorney General just doesn't take the caucus system serious.
4. part of the reason people wanted the caucus sites at the casinos was so people who work in the casinos could participate.....HOW?? They have to work....what is there suddenly going to be a drop in service for 4 hours while the entire staff goes a-caucusing? I mean we aren't talking a primary here of one vote-one person....and once they get into the caucus center they can't leave until its done, right?

Okay first a few terms people need to understand....

1. the federal reserve can effect this the most easily by lowering interest rates the term 'recession' just means that for two quarters there has been no growth in the economy--not that we are losing anything, just that we aren't gaining anything....so if we retain ground for two quarters-its still considered a recession.
2. economically speaking "slump" is just a term for not growing at the moment, not like it sounds...it does not mean 'depression'.
3. the feds need to worry about over correction...imagine you are in a car driving on a wet road and someone swings into your lane, you need to correct yes, but an over correction can do just as much damage if not worse. Same with the economy...if they correct it too much then they could find the ecomony could end up in the ditch on its head before they know it.
4. the majority of the economice issues we are seeing are due to foreclosures on ARM homes (Adjustable Rate Mortgage) where the home owner forgot to take the increase of their mortgage payment into their monthly budget. This is a good indication of the feds over-adjusting to fit a need.

I KNEW it!!! Canada wants to invade the US! Actually there was a movie released that dealt with this very subject, it was a comedy that starred John Candy, it was called "Canadian Bacon", here's a trailer from the movie--it is really funny if you can find a copy of it, you should get it.
Actually I shouldn't make fun of this...this is serious if Al-Queda has found a chink in our armor via the Canadian border.
And yet people will still complain and holler over the new security going on at the borders...and it would be a real pain if you are a last minute traveler--because as it stands now it will take at least 6 months to get a passport which you will need to get in or out of the country.
