Keep this address on hand

am1500 KSTP : Minneapolis/St.Paul The Radio Home of the Minnesota Twins

Okay gang keep this address on hand....it is the local talk radio station and they have some pretty bright guys on here---and if not they at least have some really bright guests on.

Today they had a man (sorry I was reading about cry baby moss and missed his name) who spoke about the economy and how the feds are doing the exact opposite of what they should do to stave inflation....they are cutting interest and increasing taxes---but they should have that the other way around, increasing interest and cutting taxes.

He also explained how America is not 'borrowing' money from countries like China, but rather China is reintroducing/investing money that they got from America thru trade. He did a really nice job at explaining the cycle of a world economy.

He also talked about how the unemployment statistics are being manipulated to lie and make us think the economy is worse than it is, and how extending unemployment benefits are a very bad idea.

He was on the 'Bob Davis Show' and the download of the episode should be up tomorrow on their podcast download page although you have a choice of listening to it in your computer or just download it to share with others. Scroll up & down the page to find the other hosts on the station.

Willie/Jay/Kenny are pretty, well, weird. I don't always agree with what they have to say but they will wake you up in the mornings.

Bob is not as bad as Rush, but he's pretty radical...but he has great guests.

Mischke is the token liberal on the station---some people love his quirky humor....I find it rather sophmoric.

Garage Logic with Joe & Rookie---now there's the flagship of the station! It is great listening....if you had to listen to just one broadcast this would would be the one. It isn't like any other show I've heard.

Sports Talk features Joe (from GL) and our local sports 'guru'--no not Sid Hartman--Roisie. IT is fun, humorous, informative and educational. Sometimes listening is kind of like Jeff Dunham& Peanut with out the silly voices or puppets, but you get my drift. If not check out You Tube for 'Jeff Dunham'.

But you can always tune in via the web---hey radio you can listen to at work even if it can't pick up normal signals due to all the steel. You've got to love that!
