My Way News - Pelosi Wants Bush Aides Investigated:

"Pelosi, D-Calif., demanded that the department pursue misdemeanor charges against former White House counsel Harriet Miers for refusing to testify to Congress about the firings of federal prosecutors in 2006 and against chief of staff Josh Bolten for failing to turn over White House documents related to the dismissals."

Wait a frickin' second---why is it a crime when the Republicans do it, but when Clinton does it HIMSELF its not considered a reason to go after him?

First off I do believe that the reasons for firing a person usually told to the person at the time of their dismissal....have you ever gotten fired from a job without being told why?

Besides which--Pelosi {self proclaimed Most Powerful Woman in the Nation} is going to waste our tax payer money to pursue a misdermeanor offense....oooo.
And remember that this will be done thru the federal government so it isn't going to be cheap either!

...The House voted 223-32 this month to hold Miers and Bolten in contempt for failing to cooperate with an inquiry into whether the prosecutors' firings were politically motivated. Angry Republicans boycotted the vote and staged a walkout in an unusually bitter scene even for the fractious House.
At the time, the Bush administration was no less harsh, saying the information sought by the House was off-limits under executive privilege and that Bolten and Miers were immune from prosecution. The White House said the department would not ask the U.S. attorney to pursue the House contempt charges...

Now I would have to think that the Chief of Staff would have thoroughly checked this out before advising Miers & Bolten not to testify===but lets get that straight too....they could only advise they can't prevent them from testifying--that would be interference with a witness and that's a big crime....a federal felony if I remember correctly.

My feeling about it all? Pelosi needs a couple of glasses of cheap wine and to get laid--and back the fuck off!! So a couple of people got fired...OMG....haven't YOU ever fired anyone before, missy? Glass Houses, Pelosi, Glass Houses!
